In order to apply for an AlphaCover Protection Plan all appliances covered must not have an existing problem, which has already occurred, or currently occurring:
- The term of this Contract will begin fifteen (15) days after AlphaCover processes your application and will continue for one (1) year ("Contract Year"). To ensure that the residence is continually covered, this Contract will automatically renew for additional 1-year periods unless you cancel by providing AlphaCover with 30 days notice prior to the end of the Contract Year, or until otherwise terminated as set forth below.
- Upon processing and approval your coverage will remain in effect only by keeping your payments up to date. If you are not up to date in these payments, service under this program will be denied and/or the Contract terminated at AlphaCover discretion without notice.
- You may not cancel this contract during the contract year if you have had service. If you wish to cancel, you will be responsible for the amount of the remaining installments or the cost of the service that you have already received. If you have not had service, you may request cancellation by calling 1300 66 98 00, or by using any of the following three methods.

Cancellation will become effective after AlphaCover has processed your request to cancel coverage.
- AlphaCover Protection Plan is not transferable to a different location. Should you move during a term of coverage, upon notification, we will begin a new 12 Month service agreement at your new location.
- AlphaCover may cancel this Contract at any time, with or without cause. If you have prepaid your annual fee in full and AlphaCover cancels the Contract prior to the end of the Contract year, you may receive a pro rata refund of the fee.
- Service coverage is available fifteen (15) days after enrollment is processed. Pre-existing conditions, as determined by AlphaCover or authorised contractor, are not covered by this Contract.
- AlphaCover Protection Plan will cover all repairs for parts and labour costs.
- All equipment covered by this Contract must meet Code requirements, be reasonably clean and safely accessible, to have water and power supply available for testing, up to 15 years old and in good operating condition at the time that the coverage begins. All appliances must be used for household duties only; appliances used and operated by large number or people or used for commercial purposes will not be covered. AlphaCover reserves the right to have an on-site inspection of the equipment.
- This Contract does not cover any labor, materials or parts required as a result of flooding, hail, attempted repairs by persons other than AlphaCover, loss of food or damage to items of clothing, abuse, vandalism, electric power outage or surge, water supply failure, accidents, fire, natural disaster, tampering or unauthorised alteration or any other abnormal conditions. Incorect installation or misuse that result in either equipment failure or performance issues are not covered by this contract. AlphaCover reserves the right to restrict specific makes of equipment from eligibility due to obsolete parts and reserves the right to use other than original manufacturer's parts. The choice of parts to be used is at AlphaCover’s or authorised contractor's sole discretion. Parts purchased by persons other than AlphaCover personnel or authorised contractor will not be installed without prior approval.
- The Plan does not include the cost of any item or accessory that is intended to be replaceable. These include: fuses, batteries, light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and starters, filters, attachments, cables, plugs or light covers.
- The Plan is designed as a breakdown protection plan and will not cover any damaged glass or plastic surfaces such as ceramic cooktops, oven door glass, refrigerator / freezer shelves. The Plan will not cover any damage caused by the incorrect use, dropping of an appliance, cabinet damage, corrosion, discoloration, manufacturers or prior repairs done by other service companies or individuals.
- The Plan is designed to provide prompt, efficient appliance repairs but not as an Emergency Service. AlphaCover reserves the right to schedule all service requests, at its discretion according to workload, weather conditions, roads and traffic issues spare parts availability and other circumstances beyond our control permit.
- Once a service request is received, AlphaCover will generally contact you within 24 hours to arrange a service appointment. We offer am or pm service calls during weekdays, other times can be specially arranged with the Customer. Customers must be able to explain in detail the nature of the problem and to commit to an agreed appointment time. Any subsequent call due to your absence at the time of the appointment will occur a fee of $88 (incl GST).
- If in our opinion the appliance is not economical to be repaired or parts for it are no longer available, we can offer you up to $250 towards buying a new appliance. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or an Appliance Retail Store voucher.
- Prices are subject to change at any time by AlphaCover. Some AlphaCover Protection Plan promotions and service offers may be for new customers only, and/or may be available in select service areas only. Any promotion or service may be subject to change or termination without notification.
- This Contract constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter of this Contract and supersedes any prior discussions, negotiations, agreements, writings, and understandings.
